Is Musalia Mudavadi a political coward? Sports CS Rashid Echesa thinks so.

Echesa said the ANC party leader has failed to unite the Luhya community.

"If Musalia is not ready to vie for presidency he should move aside and let others lead. I am ready to take the Mulembe nation forward." Echesa said on Saturday.

He spoke

during a political gathering in the county.

He reiterated that he should pave way for other leaders, if he is not ready to take the bullet.

Former senator Bony Khalwale also said should lead the community in leaving NASA coalition and form one party that will have a strong bargaining power in the 2022 elections.

"We want Ford Kenya and ANC to merge and form one political outfit so that when DP Ruto comes to the table with his party, we also sit with ours."

Khalwale said.

Khalwale said Ruto should consider forming an alliance with the Luhya community on grounds that it will play a key role in his quest for the top job.

His sentiments were echoed by Sirisia MP John Walukhe.

Mumias East MP Benjamin Wasiali chided ODM leader Raila Odinga for duping Ford - Kenya leader Moses

Wetangula and Mudavadi.

"If the handshake is about uniting Kenyans he would have gone with all the principals. How Raila is taking the building bridges plan we can clearly tell that is not uniting the nation." Wasiali said.
