A man allegedly murdered his wife at their home in Naivasha for using Sh4,000 schools fees to do her hair.

The flower farm worker reportedly hit the woman on the back of her head with a blunt object before leaving for work on Tuesday.

He was arrested hours later

The couple lived near Karagita trading centre.

Neighbour Sally Waithera said they had argued over the amount as it had been set aside for their children's primary school education.

“The man accused his wife of using the money to do her hair over the festive season. This angered him to the point of killing her."

The couple had quarreled on Monday night, forcing neighbours to intervene.
