West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo has castigated NASA over its plan to swear-in Raila Odinga if President Uhuru Kenyatta takes oath of office.
He said the National Super Alliance has lost direction and wants to derail Kenya from moving forward after a long political season.
The county boss on Monday asked NASA to accept defeat following their decision to boycott the repeat election held on October 26.
"It will be unconstitutional for the Opposition to swear-in Raila as president since Uhuru won the election. The law is very clear," Lonyangapuo said.
"NASA should stop mere threats and follow the constitution."

The governor said NASA is not being mindful of Kenyans following their plan to extend politics to 2018.
"Kenyans are now stuck without adequate services from the government," he added.
Lonyangapuo also noted that political matters have affected pastoral communities.
Senator Samuel Poghisio said it is high time elected leaders provided services to citizens instead of politicising all development projects.
He said Kenyans only need peace and that there is no need for secession debates and sideshows of threats to swear-in Raila.
"The two camps should talk to end Kenyans' suffering. The two camps should cool their tempers and forge ahead in developing our country."
The legislator faulted police officers for killing more than 300 cows in Laikipia county yet the animals are pastoralists' only source of wealth.
