NASA leader Raila Odinga has told foreign envoys to stop meddling in Kenya's political matters saying they are only complicating an already confusing situation.

Raila said the

envoys are hell-bent on pushing Kenyans into an election that will not be credible and which will only throw the country into deeper political crisis.

The AU and the UN-backed envoys have said they are satisfied with preparation for the repeat polls scheduled for Thursday, October 26.

The lot said they are confident the IEBC will deliver a credible vote called after the Supreme Court annulled Uhuru Kenyatta's win on August 8.

Speaking in Kisii on Monday during election boycott campaigns, Raila said the envoys have given the electoral process a clean bill of health despite former commissioner Roselyn Akombe and IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati questioning the poll.

"Chebukati himself said he cannot guarantee that the election will be credible. As NASA, we had seen everything Akombe and Chebukati said," Raila said.

Raila further questioned why the envoys were silent about Akombe's revelation that she had been receiving death threats prior to her resignation on Wednesday last week.

"She (Akombe) used to receive death threats, reported to the police and no action was taken. She wrote to Chebukati who in turn wrote to the Inspector General but no action was taken."

Earlier on Monday, Raila met

members of the diplomatic community at his office where reiterated that he will not participate in the repeat election.

The meeting took place at the request of the diplomats who included

ambassadors and high Commissioners of the US, UK, EU, Norway and Denmark.

Raila said the envoys, whom he called

“a small minority” are determined to subvert Kenya's journey towards democratization.

He said the envoys are pushing for any kind of elections, credible or otherwise, just to close the chapter regardless of the consequences.

"There will be elections in Kenya soon but not this month (October),” Raila said.

He

reiterated the position that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is not ready to conduct free, fair and credible elections.
