Farmers in Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri county have taken up Macadamia farming as their new cash crop following perennial frustrations in coffee farming due to poor pay.
Over 500 farmers received Macadamia tree grafted seedlings with the hope of harvesting in three-and-a-half years after planting.
