A man was charged yesterday with creating a disturbance by calling his pastor a dog and threatening to beat him with a torch.

Vincent Mutoka, a Britam employee, allegedly called pastor Philemon Luluzi of Outreach Christian Ministries a dog and threatened to harm him.

He allegedly committed the offence on March 8 in Shauri Moyo.

Mutoka was also charged with insulting Samson Makori as stupid and an idiot and threatened to cut his throat with a panga.

He allegedly committed the offence on February 18 at government quarters in Shauri Moyo.

Mutoka denied the charges before Makadara principal magistrate Angelo Kithinji and was released on Sh50,000 bail.

The case will be mentioned on March 22.
