Josephine Kabura arrives at EACC for Sh791 million NYS probe

Josephine Kabura has arrived at the EACC for questioning over her affidavit linking former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru to the Sh791 million NYS fraud.

The businesswoman who arrived with her lawyer Dennis Mosota will be required to shed light on the role of all individuals mentioned in her affidavit.

Kabura,

a key suspect in the scandal, last Tuesday to appear in court for the mention of her case citing illness. She

owns four companies in the scandal.

She claimed in her damning affidavit that of how to divert public attention and mislead investigators from getting to the bottom of the scandal.

Kabura described her alleged relationship with Waiguru in the affidavit, but the former CS

dismissed her as a “crazy woman” whom she came to know about only after the scandal broke.

On Monday, Waiguru was probed for the second time in three months by EACC detectives over the scandal after being .

She was whisked into the interrogation room, where, for the better part of the day, she was made under oath by Kabura.
