DIVISIONS have emerged in Baby Satrine Osinya’s extended family.

Satrine is the two-year-old boy who survived a bullet wound in his head when gunmen stormed Joy in Jesus Church, Likoni, on March 23 last year.

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko paid the child’s hospital bill and adopted him and his brother, Gift.

The children’s grandmother is complaining that she has never seen them since they were adopted.

Their mother, Veronica Osinya, was killed in the attack.

“My mother is complaining that her grandchildren were taken away without our consent. Since last year, we have not seen the two children. We only see them on TV,” Veronica’s sister, Consolata Awino, told the Star on the phone.

She said Satrine’s father, Benson Osinya, has not been informing them about the children’s welfare.
