A Grand Antakshari Competition

The concept of Antakshari originated from India and involves a singing contest that tests one's knowledge on songs across the Indian sub-continent. The Sindhi Sakhi Group organised a thrilling Antakshari competition on Sunday at the Oshwal Center Auditorium. Hosted by popular singing duo, Bhavna and Hanif Kassam, 12 Asian communities across Nairobi participated in the competition judged by Asian Weekly's Javed Kana and East FMs Parveen Adam and Jasmine Postwalla.

The Sindhi Sakhi Group organised a thrilling Antakshari competition on Sunday at the Oshwal Center Auditorium. Hosted by popular singing duo, Bhavna and Hanif Kassam, 12 Asian communities across Nairobi participated in the competition judged by Asian Weekly's Javed Kana and East FMs Parveen Adam and Jasmine Postwalla. It was a successful event that saw the auditorium filled to capacity.

The Maharashtra Mandal were the overall winners followed by Navnath Community and the Lohana community in 3rd position.
