The 26th Annual General Meeting of the African Trade and Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI) officially opened on July 1, 2026, at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki presided over the opening ceremony on behalf of Kenya, the host nation.

The meeting has brought together more than 200 delegates from across Africa to discuss trade, investment, financial performance, regional economic cooperation and the admission of new member states.

The 26th ATIDI Annual General Meeting will continue until July 3, bringing together leaders, policymakers, investors and development partners to strengthen trade, investment and economic cooperation across Africa.

The gathering provides a platform for dialogue, collaboration and strategic decision-making aimed at supporting sustainable growth and enhancing the continent's investment environment.
