People's Liberation Party leader Martha Karua and Siaya Governor James Orengo on Thursday joined other activists in delivering a notice to the National Police Service at Jogoo House in Nairobi ahead of planned June 25 demonstrations.
The activists presented the notice to police in line with legal requirements governing public assemblies and demonstrations.
Civil society activist Husein Khalid was among those present during the exercise before the group addressed journalists outside the police headquarters.
The planned demonstrations are expected to take place in Nairobi and other parts of the country as part of activities marking one year since the June 2025 anti-Finance Bill protests.
