Prophet Dr. Owuor received by Mozambican President Daniel Chapo

Renowned preacher Prophet Dr. David Owuor was officially received by President Daniel Chapo of Mozambique at the presidential palace in Maputo.

The visit, which drew significant attention from religious and government circles, was attended by a delegation of senior church leaders from across Mozambique, reflecting what the ministry described as “a deep national hunger for revival and spiritual renewal.”

In a statement broadcast on state-run channel TVM, the Prophet's engagement with the President was described as one that "underscored the growing recognition of the message of repentance, holiness, and the imminent coming of the Messiah."

During his address to the President, Prophet Dr. Owuor reiterated the central theme of his global ministry, the glorious coming of the Lord, and the need for all nations to repent and return to holiness.

“The Messiah is coming,” he declared.

“Mozambique must prepare for the glorious return of the Lord. The time to prioritize the Lord’s agenda above all else has come, for this nation carries great potential in the eyes of God.”

Prophet Owuor commended President Chapo for what he termed “wisdom and humility before the Lord,” describing him as “a very exceptional leader who understands that true national success begins with honouring God.”

In response, the President acknowledged the importance of placing God at the centre of national development.

 “In a world increasingly turning away from Jesus, Mozambique must remain steadfast in faith,” he said.

Following the meeting, the Prophet is expected to preside over a two-day National Conference and Grand Healing Service in Maputo, which organizers say will bring together multitudes of believers and pastors from across the nation.

The ministry indicated that the event will focus on “revival, restoration, and healing, both spiritual and physical, as signs of God’s mercy and love for Mozambique.”

According to the ministry’s itinerary, Prophet Owuor will depart Mozambique immediately after the event and proceed to Japan, where he is scheduled to lead another major Revival Meeting as part of his ongoing global evangelistic mission.

The Repentance and Holiness Ministry described the Mozambique visit as “a powerful manifestation of the Gospel’s reach and the growing readiness of nations to embrace the message of repentance and preparation for the coming of the Messiah.”

“This is a new dawn for Mozambique,” the ministry said. “When leadership opens its doors to the Word of God, it invites blessings upon the nation. The Lord is surely visiting the earth.”
