Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Monday took the county
economic empowerment drive for youths and women to Ithookwe Grounds in Kitui
Central, Kitui County.
During the drive he reiterated Kenya Kwanza’s commitment to
fulfilling all the promises made in 2022, to uplift the socio-economic status
of all Kenyans and dignify Mama Mboga, hawkers, boda boda
riders, Jua Kali artisans and other micro and small enterprises that are
instrumental in the growth of the Country.
Kindiki highlighted some of the interventions put in place

interventions, such as the Nyota initiative.
Kindiki was accompanied by Speaker of the National Assembly
Moses Wetangula, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwa, Senate
Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, President's Aide Farouk Kibet, MPs Caleb Mule
(Machakos Town) Vincent Musyoka (Mwala) Nimrod Mbai (Kitui East), Mwengi Mutuse
(Kibwezi West) Martin Wanyonyi Pepela (Webuye East) Gitonga Murugara (Tharaka) and
Dominic Eli Letipila (Samburu North)

Kinengo and a host of MCAs.
