Protests have begun in Mombasa, with young protesters marching with placards demanding affordable living for all Kenyans.
The youth are also chanting, 'anti-Ruto slogans' in the streets of Mombasa town.
Businesses are on standstill at Mwembe Tayari, the main stage of Mombasa County where there are booking stations.
Nawala Center, one of the busy business buildings is also closed as employees watch over the door, as the protests continue unraveling.
