A sombre mood engulfed Lee Funeral Home early Friday, June 14, as the body of the late Njambi Koikai left the morgue ahead of burial at Lang'ata cemetery.

Family and friends first gathered at the Funeral Home to view the body before leaving for the burial destination.

Koikai died on June 3, 2024, and is set to be laid to rest this Friday.

Her burial service is being held at Lang'ata Cemetery, Nairobi.

According to the programme, the final journey activities were to commence at 8 am.

It was to start with the arrival at Lee Funeral Home.

Prayers, viewing and procession to Lang'ata Cemetery were scheduled to happen between 8 am to 1o am.

At Lang'ata Cemetery,  the service was led by Nairobi Chapel Rev. Ken  Aringo and Pastor Simon Karanja alias WaMary.

During the burial service, friends and family paid glowing tributes to Nkambi.
