National Treasury CS Njunguna Ndung'u is on Thursday presenting before the National Assembly the budget estimates for the 2024-25 financial year.

The Sh3.92 trillion budget is President William Ruto's second budget since he ascended to power on September 13, 2022.

CS Ndung'u is expected to make his way to Parliament at 3pm for presentation of the budget that will highlight funding allocation to different sectors of the economy.

The presentation of the budget comes amid public outcry over proposed new tax measures in the Fiance Bill, 2024 as government seeks to epand the tax base and meet its revenue targets to finance the budget.
