Nairobi County's United Democratic Alliance party delegates have turned out in numbers for their declaration conference at the Bomas of Kenya.

The meeting comes a few days before the party polls, which are slated for Friday.

Present at the meeting is Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and his deputy Njoroge Muchiri.

Sakaja is seeking the party's chairmanship in Nairobi County. His main challenger is Embakasi North MP James Gakuya.

The Nairobi Governor will use the event to drum up support to be voted in as the party's chairperson.
