President William Samoei Ruto on Tuesday met with the Minister of State of the United Kingdom for Development and Africa,  Andrew Mitchell.

The meeting was held at State House, Nairobi.

Ruto expressed Kenya's appreciation for the productive cooperation with the United Kingdom in various sectors of mutual benefit.

"Kenya appreciates the cooperation with the United Kingdom in the various fields of mutual benefit," President Ruto said.

"We will develop new partnerships to address emerging challenges as we explore new opportunities," Ruto said.

The discussions highlighted Kenya's commitment to forging new partnerships with the UK to address emerging challenges and explore fresh opportunities for collaboration.

This indicates a strong desire to expand the existing relationship and tackle future issues together.
