Man dies in Kilifi after choking during intimate encounter

In a case of an intimate moment turned tragic, a man has been reported to have died in the act as a result of choking, a report filed at Kilifi Police Station stated.

Bernard Omayo, aged 30, had visited his girlfriend in Kilifi North Sub-County in Kilifi County when tragedy struck at 3pm on Tuesday.

The lady reported the incident to the police.

The lady, who lives in a rented house in the Mabirikani area, had hosted her boyfriend, who arrived at around 11:25am.

She told the police that while they were engaging in the act, he got choked with saliva and collapsed.

She then rushed for assistance from her immediate neighbours and rushed him to Kilifi County Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Officers visited the scene and documented it accordingly and transferred the body to Kilifi County Hospital Morgue pending autopsy.
