[PHOTOS] Final preparations ahead of Ruto's arrival in US

Top-notch preparations are in high gear in the United States ahead of President William Ruto's expected arrival for his state visit.

The plane carrying the president is expected to land at the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Ruto is expected to visit the Carter Presidential Library and Museum on his first stop of the day.

Police patrol cars were surveying the area ahead of the President's arrival.

The state visit is the first for an African leader in 16 years.

The President is expected to make a strong case for Kenya as Africa’s top and most strategic investment destination. 

Ruto will urge multinational companies in the US to take advantage of the irresistible trade and investment options Kenya offers, ranging from ICT, e-mobility, agriculture, infrastructure, housing, renewable energy and carbon markets.
