Wiper Democratic Party’s leadership led by Kalonzo Musyoka on Saturday spearheaded a membership registration drive to Kwale County.
Kalonzo, who was accompanied by DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa said the registration will make the Opposition coalition, Azimio la Umoja, even stronger.
“The movement is growing and the People of Kwale County have said that they won't go back,” Kalonzo said.
He said Wiper is a national party and called on its supporters to register as members.
“This strong declaration and determination to register as party members was evident. It made opening up this particular office very fulfilling,” he added.
Also present with him were Wiper secretary general Shakilah Abdalah, MPs Susan Kiamba (Makueni) and Edith Nyenze (Kitui West).
