President William Ruto on Tuesday arrived at the Parliament buildings to address the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) .
EALA will be having its sittings in Nairobi, returning to Kenya since 2018.
This is in line with Article 55 of the Treaty for the establishment of the East African Community, which provides for rotational sittings of the Assembly among the member states.

He was received by Joseph Ntakirutimana, who is the speaker of EALA.
