President William Ruto on Thursday presided over the groundbreaking of the Naitiri market in Tangoren, Bungoma.

The Head of State also officially opened Naitiri Primary School before leading the groundbreaking ceremony for the Naitiri Economic Stimulus Project Market. 

Ruto was in the company of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and other area leaders. 

National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang'ula and Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Wafula were also present.
