The long wait is over for the candidates who sat for their KCSE last year.
Before 8 am, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and his team were at the State Lodge in Eldoret to brief President William Ruto.
This is the first time the national examinations will be announced outside Nairobi.
Machogu was accompanied by Principal Secretary for Basic Education Belio Kipsang, Teachers Service Commission CEO Nancy Macharia and other education officials.
At least 903, 260 candidates sat for the papers which began on October 23, 2023 and ended on November 2023.
Last month, CS Machogu assured that the results would be credible, adding that the marking centres were increased from 35 to 40 to better the working conditions.
He said the candidates will benefit from a new grading system, unveiled in August, which is aimed at increasing the number of those joining universities.
