Heartwarming affair: Raila spreads birthday joy with children from 8 orphanages

Azimio Leader Raila Odinga is turning 79 years old today.

Raila will be celebrating his birthday with children from eight children's homes in Malindi.

He is accompanied by his wife Ida Odinga and some Kilifi leaders.

The children are from Mama Anakuja, Lea Mwana, Home of Hope, Rise and Shine, Blessed Generations, Malindi orphanage, ICET rescue center and the Hearts Children Centre.

They sang, danced and cut cake.

The cake was brown and big that it had to be carried by more than one person. 

Leaders present include Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir, Kilifi Deputy Governor Flora Chibule, Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzayo, Kilifi South MP Ken Chonga, Malindi MP Amina Mnyazi, Magarini MP Harry Kombe, Mombasa women MP Mishi Mboko and her Kilifi Counterpart Getrude mbeyu among other leaders.
