Kenyans ushered in the New Year 2024 in style with a successful crossover from 2023. 

In Kangemi, Nairobi County, a man was seen kneeling and praying to welcome the new year. 

"Asante Mungu kwa kunivukisha mwaka mpya," he said as others used steelwool to produce sparks as they celebrated.

Others went to Uhuru Park to reflect on the past year and rest. 

Some were seen taking naps along the Kenyatta Avenue, while others sat beside Uhuru Park Water Joint.
