President William Ruto on Saturday joined hundreds of youth for the Connekt Africa Summit at KICC.
The Summit dubbed 'Youth innovating a borderless African renaissance' brought together youth from different countries in Africa.
Also present were DP Rigathi Gachagua, Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi, Council of Governors chairperson Anne Waiguru and Sports and Youth Affairs CS Ababu Namwamba.
During the summit, Ruto called on the youth from Africa to become champions of environmental stewardship, foster innovative practices that protect the planet while ensuring sustainable livelihoods for future generations.

Ruto said the continent must lead in the development of sustainable solutions to address the effects of climate change.
Ruto said the global job market is increasingly shifting towards virtual andtechnology-driven roles, necessitating an alignment of the education system with this reality.
Ruto also presented certificates to graduates who had successfully completed free online courses at Arizona State University.
