Preparations are top-notch to send 1,000 police officers to Haiti to combat gangs and restore security.

Currently, the officers are undergoing paramilitary training to be deployed to Haiti by January 2024.

They were seen donning their official regalia with guns during the training.

More than 1,000 officers will be picked from the Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU), Anti Stock Theft Unit (ASTU), General Service Unit (GSU), and Border Patrol Unit (BPU).

Kenya will take the command and operations of about 3,000 personnel.
