President William Ruto on Monday flagged off the Community Health Promoters' kits.

The President unveiled 100,000 Community Health Promoters kits to 47 County Governments at Uhuru Park, Nairobi County.

Ruto said Kenyans will no longer travel to hospitals for screening and treatment of minor ailments.

The President added that instead, CHPs will serve Kenyans from their homes thus the essence of bottom-up transformation of citizen services.

He said the government will equip every Community Health Promoter with a kit that will be used to ensure they can access every household in Kenya.
