[PHOTOS] Pomp and colour as Raila, Ida mark 50th wedding anniversary

It was all pomp and colour on Thursday evening as Azimio leader Raila Odinga and his spouse, Mama Ida Odinga celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The event held at the Villa Rosa Kempinski also doubled up as Mama Ida Odinga's 73rd birthday.

The event saw family members, leaders, friends of the Odingas and Kenyans from all walks attend the event.

"It was an evening like no other as guests from all walks of life gathered at the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi to celebrate Mama ⁦Ida Odinga⁩’s birthday," the Orange party said.

"The day also marked the 50th wedding anniversary of Raila Odinga⁩ and Mama Ida."

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino who was among the leaders present wished the former Prime Minister and his wife well as they grow stronger in marriage.

"Happy 50th anniversary to Baba Raila Odinga and Mama Ida Odinga Wishing you both a happy anniversary and many more to come. We celebrate you," he said.
