President William Ruto on Thursday toured Isiolo and Meru counties.

He was accompanied by his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua , Cabinet Secrtaries Mithika Linturi (Agriculture), Zacharia Njeru ( Lands) , Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo, Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza, MPs, among other leaders.

In Isiolo, President Ruto vowed to expand and modernise Isiolo to cater for the growing population in the region. Roads within the town will be upgraded, street lights erected, security enhanced and the sewerage lines fixed.

In Meru County, he issued title deeds to the people of Tutua and commissioned the 21-Kilometre Isiolo-Ruiri Road that will stimulate the transportation of farm produce to the market.
