Normalcy has returned on the streets of Mombasa on day two of the anti-government protest called by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

On Wednesday, the coast region witnessed pockets of street protests only at Express along Moi Avenue in Mombasa and at Mtwapa.

In Mombasa, the Azimio leaders failed to attend the much-anticipated demonstrations.

This left a section of their supporters who had turned up to retreat to their homes.
