[PHOTOS] Protesters meet fearless police in Saba Saba demos

They were moving to Central Park as directed by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Police officers and demonstrators were on Friday engaged in a battle of wills as the latter tried to access the Nairobi Central Business District.

The offices lobbed teargas at the Azimio supporters along Jogoo Road who were seen scattering before they decided to fight back.

The protesters on their part resulted in lit bonfires and throwing back the teargas canisters to the police.

They were responding to Azimio leader Raila Odinga's call to proceed to Central Park from Kamukunji grounds.

Raila and his supporters are protesting against the high cost of living and President William Ruto's Finance Act.
