Muslim faithful on Wednesday flocked different markets to buy slaughtered goats and sheep to mark the Eid-Ul-Adha celebrations.
Photos captured by the Star during a spot check showed traders slaughtering goats to sell to Muslim customers.
However, some of the traders complained of declined sales due to the prevailing high cost of living.
They said the bad economic times have affected their businesses especially during the ongoing Eid festivities.
Hundreds of animals are slaughtered during Muslim festivities and distributed to the needy in society.
