President William Ruto arrived in Switzerland on Thursday morning.

He visited the United Nations, Geneva where he was received by Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli

President  Ruto is on a two-day visit to Geneva where he is expected to deliver a keynote address at the International Labour Conference.

Prior to his address, the President will engage in bilateral talks with the Director General of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Gilbert  Houngbo.

They will discuss collaborative efforts in promoting social justice and ensuring dignified work for all.

The conference will bring together global leaders, including Heads of State, the UN Secretary-General and the ILO Director General.

They are expected to address key themes such as inequalities, promoting inclusive work environments, ensuring social protection and advancing human rights.

The President's participation in the ILO Conference underscores his dedication to championing social justice and creating an environment where all individuals can thrive.
