Trade cabinet secretary Moses Kuria and his agriculture counterpart Mithika Linturi on Wednesday met Foreign Affairs Minister S.F.Aleinik from Belarus.
The parties discussed strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
The talks as shared by Kuria in a tweet put emphasis on the importance of a transition to a more strategic relationship between the countries.
"The relationship is to be strengthened through targeted investments in the various sectors of the economy," Kuria said.
The CS noted that there is a need to achieve peace and stability in the respective regions.
"This will secure sustainable regional development for both countries," Kuria said.
He added that this desired stability will enhance a robust socio-economic and political engagement for a collective prosperous future.
