Motorists stranded in Ahero by stalled truck 

Motorists were on Friday evening stranded at Ahero due to a traffic jam that lasted for several hours.

The heavy jam was caused by a trailer stalled at a bridge. 

Motorists started overlapping, worsening the situation and leading to the mess.

Six dead after head-on collision in Kiambu  

At least six people were killed following a head-on collision between a 14-seater matatu and a private car in Githunguri, Kiambu, on Friday.  

Three people who were in critical condition were rushed to the nearest hospital. 

Some of the injured were taken to Kiambu Level 5 Hospital.

The private vehicle was speeding before it collided with the passenger vehicle. 

The accident occurred at around 7:30 pm. 

More than 120 dead in India train crash

More than 12o people are now known to have been killed and 850 injured in a multiple train collision in India's eastern Odisha state, officials say.

According to BBC dozens of ambulances were sent to the scene in Balasore district, the state's chief secretary, Pradeep Jena, said.

One passenger train is thought to have derailed before being struck by another on the adjacent track late on Friday.

Indian Railways said the two services involved were the Coromandel Express and the Howrah Superfast Express.

Two-year-old shot suffers car crash on way to hospital, dies

A two-year-old boy died on Sunday night after he was shot at home and got into an accident while on the way to the hospital. 

According to Mirror UK, the accident took place in St Petersburg, Florida, US as the boy's family tried to rush him to the hospital when they lost control and crashed into a car 

Emergency services were called and the child was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

However, he was pronounced dead.
