President William Ruto on Monday presided over the African Private Sector Dialogue Conference on Free Trade in Nairobi.

The event was attended by leaders and delegates from across the African continent.

Ruto said the event is designed to underscore and promote the private sector’s involvement in achievement of Agenda 2063.

"Everyone who has participated in organizing this event, and everyone who is taking part in its proceedings is making a significant contribution in moving the agenda forward by enhancing the role of an indispensable dimension of development- the private sector," he said.
