President William Ruto on Monday commissioned a cyberknife, the latest equipment in cancer treatment.
The equipment which will be housed at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital arrived into the country in October last year.
Ruto was accompanied by Health CS Susan Wafula, the KUTRRH board chair Olive Mugend, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and the Chief Justice Martha Koome among other dignitaries.

Cyberknife is the latest technology that conducts non-invasive treatment for cancerous and non-cancerous tumours.
It uses advanced technology to track tumours anywhere in the body, with treatments conducted in one to five sessions.
It is globally acclaimed as the best treatment for brain tumours, lung tumours, prostate cancer tumours, meningiomas, vascular malfunctions among others.
The service will be fully funded by NHIF.
