Sports CS Ababu Namwamba on Saturday laid his ex-wife Priscah Mwaro to rest at his Magoye home in Budalangi.
Among those in attendance were Busia Governor Paul Otuoma and Health CS Susan Wafula.
Otuoma sent a condolence message to Namwamba's family and friends.
"May the loving memories of Pricsa ease the loss and bring comfort to the Namwaba's family and the Budalangi people," he said.
"Fare thee well our sister, fare thee well our friend. May her soul rest in Eternal Peace."
