Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja was on Thursday inaugurated as the Red Cross patron.

Kenya Red Cross leadership led by its Secretary General Asha Mohammed were in attendance.

Sakaja lauded the red cross body for giving him that opportunity to be their national patron.

He pledged to build a stronger partnership with the Red Cross body.

" We look forward to a stronger partnership," Sakaja said.

Nairobi deputy governor Njoroge Muchiri was also in attendance.
