President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua conducted a tree-planting exercise after closing the ninth National and County Coordinating Summit.

The summit which was a two-day event from Friday was chaired by the Head of State and was attended by all 47 Governors.

"This 1st Summit under President William Ruto was a great moment for our nation as we galvanised our efforts with the leadership of the 47 County Governments,"Gachagua said. 

 

He said the summit was geared towards seamless service to the people.

Among the leaders present were Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru,Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
