Kenyans who have enrolled on the Hustler Fund are being encouraged to repay the money on time so that their limits can be raised.

Cooperatives and MSMEs cabinet secretary Simon Chelugui acknowledged that more Kenyans have continued to be registered in the digital platform since the launch.

The individual limit, he noted, is being reviewed through the credit score system.

"The fund is revolutionary, its objective is to make affordable credit to sections of the population that have been left behind for far too long," he said.

He added, "We shall be moving into the next phase next month in February by bringing Co-operatives (SACCO) on board."

The CS made the remarks during his tour of the Ngara market in Nairobi.
