President William Ruto is attending a thanksgiving prayer service at Bomet Green Stadium.
Leaders accompanying him include Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula and Senate Majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot.
Others are Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok, his Kericho counterpart Eric Mutai, Labour Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore, and Bomet senator Hillary Sigei among others leaders.
The church service was preceded by a two-day tour in the Nyanza region to launch development projects.
