Kitui Muslim Secondary School students joined their counterparts in sitting for the the KCSE examination, which began on Friday.

Some 88,4263 candidates are sitting for exam across the country.

The students were seen revising before getting into the exam room.

They lined up and were frisked before going into the exam room.

The students started with English Paper 1 and will end the day with Chemistry Paper 1.

Education officials moved across three counties to oversee the opening of containers and distribution of exam.

On Monday, next week, the Form 4 candidates will write Mathematics Paper 1 and English Paper 2.
