National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula on Wednesday met Hungary's ambassador to Kenya Zsolt Meszaros to foster bilateral relations.
In a statement, Wetangula said the government of Hungary has increased the number of scholarship slots from 100 to 200.
Wetangula said that the Hungary government has partnered with Kenya to work on different projects in the country.
He said that the Hungary government is putting up a cancer hospital in Nyeri to address cancer-related ailments in the region.
The Hungary government has also partnered with locals in Bungoma to come up with a disabled children’s centre that strives to help the disabled children who have been marginalized and neglected in the community.
