• The legislators led by House Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa, they said Raila was part of the economic mess the country is facing and should keep off.
Kenya Kwanza MPs on Friday held a press conference to address the issues raised by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The legislators led by House Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa, they said Raila was part of the economic mess the country is facing and should keep off.
"He is part and parcel of the problem, he abandoned his oversight role," Ichung'wa said.
On Thursday, the opposition leader had claimed the government was proposing tax raise to help realize their promises.
He had said the probe into extrajudicial killings had turned into a witch hunt against former DCI director George Kinoti.
In a rejoinder, Ichung'wa wondered if Raila was saying the investigations should be stopped.
"Is Raila saying no investigations should be carried out on the extrajudicial killings or is he saying they did not happen?"
He said the leader should stop castigating President William Ruto's administration and instead offer help on the subject.
Also present was the Majority Whip and South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro was also present.
