The family and friends of lawyer Paul Gicheru gathered on Thursday to lay his body to final rest at his home in Nakuru.

The burial ceremony took place at his Farm in Kwa-Nguku village in Bahati, Nakuru County.

Gicheru left behind a wife, Ruth Nyambura and three sons;  Allan, Alex and Alvin.

The lawyer passed away at his Karen home on Monday night, September 26.

Police said the ICC suspect ate late lunch and felt unwell and went to bed but he did not wake up.

The cause of death was unknown, prompting investigation into the matter.

Gicheru's autopsy was postponed twice last week amid claims of family squabbles.
