The swearing-in ceremony of 124 MCAs of Nairobi County Assembly were sworn-in on Thursday at the event preceded by heavy security.

The oath was administered by Clerk Edward Gichana.

He administered the oath or affirmation of office to MCAs in alphabetical order.

MCAs with the longest cumulative period of service in the county were however given first priority.
