Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Monday lead leaders in a visit to the British High Commission to pass their condolences following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The leaders included Governors Mutula Kilonzo Jnr (Makueni), Wavinya Ndeti (Machakos) and, Senators Dan Maanzo (Makueni) and Agnes Kavindu (Machakos).

Others were Woman Reps Joyce Kamene (Machakos) and Esther Passaris (Nairobi) and, Machakos DG Francis Mwangangi.

DPP Noordin Haji, Chief Justice Martha Koome also paidd their condolences.

The high commission said the book will be available from September 12 to 15 from 8am to 4.30pm.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Friday, surrounded by her children at her Scottish estate near Aberdeen.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon."

She will be laid to rest on Monday, September 19.

Her coffin will be taken in procession to Westminster Abbey for the state funeral, which is a Bank Holiday in the UK.

The committal service will take place at St George's Chapel in Windsor Chapel.
